REANIMAL is a new game from the creators of the original Little Nightmares. Like the studio’s previous projects, it features a large number of collectible items. Among them, you’ll find hats, posters, statues, coffins, and more. Some of these only affect the character’s appearance and unlock achievements, while others even allow you to get a secret ending. In this guide, we’ll explain how to find all the collectibles.
There are 110 collectible items in REANIMAL in total. Here’s the complete list:
- 47 secret items — finding them will earn you three achievements.
- 18 masks (hats).
- 20 concept art pieces.
- 5 small creatures.
- 5 hidden statues.
- 5 coffins (unlock the secret ending).
- 10 rest spots.
Please note: to unlock the secret ending and the secret mask, you must find all the coffins and statues in a single, uninterrupted playthrough. If you try to reload a level and find an item, it still won’t be counted toward the total statistics.
Mask №1
Upon entering the large building, ascend the stairs and observe the scene with the closing doors. Climb the wall to the left of the gates, then proceed up the main staircase. The main path leads to the right, but you need to follow to the left until you reach a hidden door behind a screen. It will lead to a cliff that you may have observed from the beach. Force your way through the hole in the wall and examine the room.
Rest Area #1
Continue following the storyline until you find yourself in a room with a large rotor. Enter the control room to the left, where you can interact with the lever and supply power. In the lower-left corner of the room stands a personal computer, and opposite it is a chair — use it.
Mask #2
We exit the previous room, solving a small puzzle with levers (ask your partner to hold the lever and walk across the giant rotor), and we find ourselves in a room with cabinets. The main path leads to the outside door, but we are interested in the nearest cabinet. Opening it, you will fall into a room with a mask.
Rest Area #2, Concept Art #1, Achievement “Dark Tourism”
Having exited the building, we find ourselves on a spacious square. Before us, a man enters through the gates, but we follow a little to the right. At the cliff, we find two chairs: if you knock over the first, you’ll receive an achievement. Interacting with the second unlocks Rest Stop #2. Also, behind the chairs, a poster is hanging on the wall – take it.
Concept Art #2
Now we follow the man who disappeared behind the first door to the right of the trolley. We examine the wall a little to the left of the locked door and pick up the poster.
Mask #3
The next mask can be obtained if you find the key in the bathroom where the man hid. To do this, squeeze through the hole next to the door and examine the corpse in the far part of the room. Pick up the plunger and apply it to the toilet in the center (to the right of the blocked shove).
The key opens the second door to the right of the trolley. Reach the room with ammunition and pick up the mask under the table.
Rest Stop #3
Now we need to follow the storyline. To do this, enter the unlocked door to the left of the trolley in the courtyard, jump across the chasm, and interact with the chair.
Coffin #1
Having obtained all the wheels and repaired the wagonette, cross over to the other side. When the wagonette comes to a stop, do not rush to go deeper into the mine. Instead, exit it and examine the two ruined carriages to the right. You can pass through one of them and discover a wagon with coffins. Interact with the object standing before you.
Statue #1
You should return to the end of the tunnel and discover a crack in the wall. When you are on the other side, you will find the statue. To activate the secret, light a candle in its hand.
Concept Art #3
The next collectible item can be found after a series of storyline events. You should hide from the man in the truck and watch a cutscene. This will take you to a spacious square. In the left corner of the location, hidden from sight, stands an empty trailer. A poster hangs directly on it.
