In Crimson Desert, a cauldron is an essential tool for crafting potions, elixirs, dyes, and special items such as Palmer’s pills. They’re hard to find—only a handful exist in the entire world, and their locations don’t appear on the map until you discover them.
Where to find a cauldron in the world of Crimson Desert
Cauldrons can be found in specific settlements such as Hernand and Pororin Village. Like campfires, anvils, and grindstones, you’ll need to have Cliff or another playable character closely examine the object in the world before its location is marked on your map.

The earliest cauldron you can find is in Hernand. It’s inside an unremarkable house east of the “Binding Abyss” fast-travel point in the town center. From the travel point, head east and follow the road downhill. After the bend that loops back west, you’ll spot a house with a bucket sign and a striped awning on the main road. Step inside—the cauldron is on the left.

Another convenient spot is Pororin Village, right next to the Research Institute. The village has several large cauldrons, but you’ll need to complete the quest “The Unreachable Village” to gain entry first.
