In the game Paralives, each new day offers a chance to start something fresh or move closer to your goal. Each morning, your characters’ desires are refreshed, and the Narrator sends them a story map that determines their daily direction.
You are usually presented with individual maps, but occasionally you receive a full set. We’ll explain everything you need to know about map sets in Paralives so you can make the right choice.
What do story maps do in Paralives?
- Story maps are generated each day when your characters go to bed.
The Narrator appears on the right side, with a set of maps displayed behind him. Clicking him reveals three maps that provide temporary boosts, goals, or desires for your household for the next day. Some options have permanent effects, while others are temporary.
What are story map sets in Paralives?
Occasionally, story map options appear as books rather than individual maps; these are map sets. Selecting a set gives you several thematically linked maps at once. You cannot undo this choice, so consider carefully. Below is a description of each set.
Once you choose a set, you cannot go back; you must pick one of the maps within it.
