Microchip Repair
Microchip repair is considered the most complex puzzle. It’s presented as a field of cells in the shape of a geometric figure: square, rectangle, or triangle. The fields are marked with numbers. On the left side are classic elements from Tetris: stick, hook, and snake.
In this puzzle, you need to understand how to correctly place the figures, orienting yourself by the numbers on the fields. Let’s describe the solution algorithm:

- Study the shape of the field.

- Look at the numbers that indicate how many cells in the row/column should be filled. For example, above the first column vertically, there is a number 1, this means that in this column should be filled only one cell.

- Pay attention to the figures on the left. Each element fills a certain number of cells on the field.
- Place all the figures on the field according to the numbers on the fields.
Let’s apply this logic to a real case:

- Given a 4×4 grid of 16 cells.

- Column numbers: 2, 2, 2, 2.
-
- Row numbers: 1, 3, 3, 1.

- There are two snake-like figures. Each bends to the right and occupies four cells.

- In the center of the field there are two filled cells, they are not counted when calculating occupied cells, as they perform the function of an obstacle.

- The first figure needs to be placed so that it occupies one cell in the first column, second row and two in the third, as well as one in the last row in the second column.
- Place the second figure so that it fills one cell in the first row in the third column, two in the second row and one in the penultimate row.
As a result, we have fulfilled the condition of the puzzle. All cells specified in the top and left field are filled. Pay attention to the image showing the solved puzzle. In other cases, it will be a random set of requirements and figures, so follow the logic: look at the numbers and place the figurines so as to fill the specified cells.
Moving Boxes
In the game world, you can find boxes on platforms of varying heights. They are distinguished by the fact that they have many light-up orange elements in their construction. These structures can be moved; it is enough to approach them and press the interaction button. As a result, the color will change from orange to yellow, after which you can place them anywhere.
This mechanic allows you to reach inaccessible places or climb over obstacles. It is also worth noting that these boxes have weight. Therefore, they can be used when you need to step on a pressure plate to open a passage or activate some mechanism.
Reactive Devices
On most industrial objects, you can find a device in the form of a column with many LEDs and a long orange cable. They function to distribute electricity. To activate it, you need to hit it with something, such as a regular attack or a metal object. As a result, the bulbs and cable will change their color to yellow.
In most cases, they activate mechanisms or open a door. But sometimes these installations are used in puzzles. For example, in the side quest “Fix the Super Crane”, where you need to activate four reactive devices in the correct sequence.
Destructible Rocks
You should keep an eye on the expanses of Talos-II, even on the rocks. You will often encounter rocks with red veins. This is an explosive crystal that can be detonated using Industrial Explosives.
To create it, you will need:

- Amethyst Parts: Amethyst Ore in the Refining Unit, then Amethyst Fiber in the Fitting Unit.

- Ground Aketine: Aketine Seed to grow in the Planting Unit, then Aketine in the Shredding Unit.
- Protocol Stash.
Connect the production chain of amethyst parts and ground agate to the packer, and then connect it to the warehouse. This way you’ll always have access to industrial explosives. Always carry at least ten grenades with you. These boulders with red veins usually hide valuable rewards or passages to caves with hidden chambers.
Sealed Crates
You’ll find locked crates (Sealed Crates) in some locations with a panel containing three glowing blue squares. To open the chest, you need to find three Aurylenes – floating blue bricks with a characteristic glow and black inclusions – in the surrounding area.
Most of the time, the Aurylenes are within a 50-meter radius of the chest. Sometimes they can be picked up from the ground, but more often you’ll need to solve simple puzzles, such as opening a door with a plate that you need to press with a sliding drawer. There are also difficult tasks, such as unlocking a passage, which require an electrical source.
Electrical Nodes
Exploring abandoned complexes, you will often encounter various types of de-energized devices. Generally, they have a cable running to the Electric Nexus, for which you need to extend an energy network. This will help you with the Relay Tower. Install it on the edge of your megafactory, and then pull the cable from the installation. If 80 meters turns out to be insufficient, install a second tower – and so on, until the device is powered on.
Green Rabbits
The world of Arknights: Endfield hides many secrets even in the spacious meadows. In the wild of Talos-II, you can find many different animals. The rabbit, half of whose body is covered in grass and flowers, is particularly noteworthy. Give the rodent some plant-based food, for example, a Citrome. Then follow the rabbit until it leads you to a treasure.
Toads in the Swamps
In the southeast of the valley, in the swamps, you will find the puzzle “Pass the Bug” (Pass the Bug). Here live giant green toads that consume fireflies and transmit the light to the next frog. Two of them are stationary, one releases the bug, and the other receives it at the end.
The objective of the mini-game is to arrange all the frogs in the correct positions and for the firefly from the first frog to reach the last one. The other amphibians change their positions when you approach them. If you do everything correctly, a case with useful resources will drop from the last one.
