New weapon models are constantly rotating into the Arsenal Exchange in Arknights: Endfield. Naturally, you’ll want to kit out your favorite Operators with the absolute best gear to make them as strong as possible on the battlefield.
Not every weapon is created equal, though. Some pieces significantly outclass the rest. Our tier list will help you sort the wheat from the chaff and find the best gear for your top Operators.

How does the tier system work?
All weapon types
Like any combat-focused game, Arknights: Endfield features a wide array of weapons and characters who specialize in using them. Every Operator has a perfectly matched piece of gear—their signature weapon. Until you unlock it, however, plenty of other excellent options can fill the gap.
Because elemental damage is dealt through Arts while physical damage is delivered directly, the game opens up a huge range of tactical choices and squad builds. Each of your Operators wields one of five weapon types:
- Swords—the go-to for most main DPS units. They usually focus on raw physical damage and inflicting debilitating status effects.
- Handguns—the game’s firearms. These are ideal for characters who excel at range, either stacking statuses or unleashing high Arts damage.
- Arts units—used by Operators who rely on elemental damage and Arts reactions. They channel the forces of nature, provided they can control them.
- Greatswords—still fairly rare in Arknights: Endfield. They swing slowly but hit like trucks, boasting sky-high ATK values.
- Polearms—offering a balance of speed and power, they let the most agile fighters keep enemies at bay, especially against physically oriented foes.
While every Operator can equip any weapon matching their type—your Endfielder, being a sword user, can’t swap to handguns, Arts units, greatswords, or polearms no matter how high their level—you’ll notice that some 5- and 6-star Operators have signature weapons. These are the iconic pieces you see in the main story, often farmed from the Arsenal Exchange.
Signature weapons are always 6-star and the best choice for any Operator in Arknights: Endfield. That said, more accessible 5-star alternatives can still be extremely useful, working perfectly with any character whose stats align with the weapon’s description.
The game is also full of filler gear: every Operator recruited via Bounty Hunt arrives with a basic 1-star weapon of their type. You should feed these to level up better pieces and swap them out as soon as you obtain stronger options that make your best Operators even more effective.
There are already more than forty weapons in the game, and the roster keeps growing with each new Operator. Rather than list every single one, we’ve outlined our scoring system below and explained why each weapon sits where it does.
How we score weapons in Arknights: Endfield
| S-Tier Weapons |
A weapon reaches the top tier in Arknights: Endfield in one of two ways: it’s a signature weapon—especially a 6-star Operator’s 6-star signature from the premium Protocol Pass—or it’s simply that powerful. These pieces are absolutely worth farming from the Arsenal Exchange or prioritizing when upgrading your strongest Operators. |
| A-Tier Weapons |
These weapons are solid all-rounders with great stats and types, and there are plenty of them. They’re usually easier to obtain than S-Tier pieces, yet still worth investing in and using until you land that perfect signature for your key units. |
| B-Tier Weapons |
Weapons in this tier are good but not best-in-slot for characters leveraging the stats we’ll call out. They’re perfectly serviceable right now and worth leveling to hand down to new Operators who don’t yet have anything better while you hunt for their ideal gear. |
Arknights: Endfield weapon tier list
S-Tier weapons
| Weapon, type & rarity | Why it’s here |
| Artzy Tyrannical
6-star handgun |
Yvonne’s signature, the quirky scientist from Valley IV. The permanent Cryo-damage boost after a crit makes it great for any Cryo handgunner. |
| Brigand’s Calling
6-star handgun |
Tantan’s signature shines on the Cinbo Stockade leader and is a top pick for any future Cryo handgun user. |
| Delivery Guaranteed
6-star Arts unit |
Julberta’s signature helps her charge her ultimate faster and buffs team Arts damage when combo skills land. |
| Dreams of the Starry Beach
6-star Arts unit |
If you run Ardelia as support, her signature boosts healing output via a direct INT increase and a bump to her secondary stat, making it solid for other healers too. |
| Forgeborn Scathe
6-star sword |
Laeventhin’s signature supercharges her ultimate with bonus attack damage while raising both INT and ATK. |
| Khravengger
6-star greatsword |
Last Rite’s signature is tailor-made for one of the best Cryo units, granting STR and ATK boosts she can fully exploit, plus skill-damage and Cryo-output increases. |
| Lupine Scarlet
6-star sword |
Though tied to Rossi’s “Wolf Blood” perk—dealing both physical and thermal damage—it’s worth farming if you field her in physical teams and makes her viable in reaction comps. |
| Mountain Bearer
6-star polearm |
Lifeng applies Physical Vulnerability well, so the AGI and physical-damage boost from his signature can’t be ignored. It adds extra damage to vulnerable foes and buffs his own stats. |
| Never Rest
6-star sword |
While it’s Borderer’s signature and he wields it brilliantly, many physical units can benefit from Never Rest’s Will and ATK increases plus bonus physical damage on SP recovery, making it a great offensive support sword. |
| Thunderberge
6-star greatsword |
If you pulled or selected Ember from the permanent banner, her signature is practically mandatory, raising STR and HP while granting her a shield whenever she heals the team. |
A-Tier weapons
| Weapon, type & rarity | Why it’s here |
| Clannibal
6-star handgun |
Handguns are popular, and Clannibal is basically Wolfgaard’s signature even though 4-star units don’t usually get one. It’s great when you need more Arts damage and main-stat scaling, plus bonus damage to enemies hit by an Arts reaction. |
| Detonation Unit
6-star Arts unit |
Boosts the wielder’s Arts Intensity and main stat while increasing Arts damage taken by enemies after successful Arts blasts. |
| Eminent Repute
6-star sword |
A clear upgrade over the default Endfielder blade, Eminent Repute significantly raises main stat and physical damage and further buffs ATK when consuming Vulnerability stacks. |
| Exemplar
6-star greatsword |
By raising both main stat and ATK, Exemplar is a solid greatsword choice, granting a blanket physical-attack boost plus extra damage after using a combat skill. |
| Former Finery
6-star greatsword |
A good greatsword for your 4-star characters. The Will and HP bump is complemented by increased healing efficacy when equipped on a supporting Operator. |
| Grand Vision
6-star sword |
Endfielder’s signature is the only 6-star Operator weapon we didn’t place in the top tier. While the AGI and ATK boost is nice, the Arts Intensity and Solidification perks fit another character better. |
| JET
6-star polearm |
Another 6-star weapon you’ll pull fairly often, making it relatively easy to upgrade for your favorite spear users. JET lets the wielder deal percent-based Arts damage while raising ATK and main stat. |
| Rapid Ascent
6-star sword |
If you need a physical unit with more main stat and crit rate plus a big physical-damage boost—especially against stunned foes—Rapid Ascent is a strong contender. |
| Sundered Prince
6-star greatsword |
One of the best greatswords in the game. The default STR and crit-rate boosts are complemented by bonus ATK on final hits and hefty stun damage when equipped on the controlled Operator. |
| Thermite Cutter
6-star sword |
Perfect for characters who rely on Will and ATK as primary or secondary stats. After the wielder recovers SP, the sword buffs team ATK, making it ideal for SP-battery units. |
| Valiant
6-star polearm |
One of the most versatile polearms around. The AGI and physical-damage increase makes Valiant a solid pick for any fast Operator who can also apply physical statuses. |
| Wedge
6-star handgun |
No matter who equips it, Wedge raises the wielder’s main stat and crit rate while granting a bonus to Arts reactions, so it’s best for handgunners who weave elements into combat. |
B-Tier weapons
| Weapon, type & rarity | Why it’s here |
| Chimeric Justice
5-star polearm |
This polearm grants a solid STR boost and faster ultimate charge, making it great for raising crit rate. It also buffs ATK when applying Vulnerability to an enemy that doesn’t already have it. |
| Freedom to Proselytize
5-star Arts unit |
A solid pick for healer Operators, increasing healing efficacy and granting bonus HP to the controlled Operator whenever the wielder’s combat skill heals the team. |
| OBJ Arts Identifier
5-star Arts unit |
The first of several OBJ-series weapons on the list. It provides a healthy INT and Arts Intensity boost while amplifying team thermal damage when the wielder’s combo skill triggers an Arts blast. |
| OBJ Edge of Lightness
5-star sword |
Main perks are increased AGI and ATK plus a bump to the wielder’s secondary stat. Great for SP-battery characters, as it also boosts damage dealt by thermal or Electro teammates. |
| OBJ Razorhorn
5-star polearm |
This polearm offers a solid physical-damage and Will boost, but shines brightest on Cryo Operators or in teams with them, as it increases damage to enemies afflicted with Solidification. |
| Opus: The Living
5-star handgun |
An excellent choice for any Operator who triggers Arts reactions, granting an ATK buff plus overall increases to AGI and Arts damage. |
| Seeker of a Dark Lung
5-star greatsword |
There aren’t many greatswords on the list, but Seeker offers a good STR boost, improved ultimate charge efficiency, and bonus ATK after landing an Arts blast on an enemy. |
| Sundering Steel
5-star sword |
Possibly the best physical sword you can easily find, especially for AGI-based Operators who need a physical-damage boost that only gets better as you stack statuses. |
Greatsword users also have access to the OBJ-series OBJ Heavy Burden, but it’s not as strong as the other pieces in that line.
