Collecting every trophy and achievement in Crimson Desert is a far bigger undertaking than it first appears. While some unlock naturally as you progress through the story, others demand dozens of hours of additional challenges.
On top of that, the in-game descriptions rarely spell out exactly what you need to do. Whether you’re chasing the platinum on PS5 or padding your gamerscore on Xbox and Steam, this guide covers everything you need to know.

Crimson Desert – Full Achievement & Trophy List
Including the platinum, Crimson Desert on PS5 has 35 trophies. The Xbox Series X/S and PC (Steam) versions contain 34 achievements. The full lineup is below:
The table lists every trophy and achievement, its description, and how to unlock it.
- Legend of Pywel (PlayStation only) – platinum. Pops automatically once every other trophy/achievement is earned.
- Rookie Adventurer – story-related. Unlocks after finishing Chapter 1.
- Campground Master – story-related. Set up camp on Howling Hill in Chapter 3.
- Labyrinth Guide – clear several labyrinth trials. The exact number is unknown, so complete every labyrinth you find.
- Spire Conqueror – finish eight Spire challenges. Easier once the map is open and fast-travel nodes are online.
- Stargazer Navigator – finish thirteen Constellation challenges. Tackle these during free-roam rather than during story missions.
- Blade Master – finish six Sword challenges. Speed things up by unlocking the related Abyssal Sealed Artifacts early and using swords in regular fights.
- Shield Master – finish six Shield challenges. Work them into camp brawls and side quests instead of saving them all for later.
- Bow Master – finish six Bow challenges. Keep a bow on Cliff while exploring to chip away at the requirements.
- Spear Master – finish five Spear challenges. Best done in dedicated Cliff fights after the category unlocks.
- Two-Handed Master – finish six Two-Handed challenges. Rotate heavy weapons between Cliff and Ung-ga in open-world combat.
- Artillery Master – finish five Cannon challenges. Start early, especially when clearing large enemy camps.
- Rapier Master – finish five Rapier & Shield challenges. Damien only—give him rapiers whenever possible.
- Firearm Master – finish five Pistol challenges. Also Damien-only; don’t leave all five for the very end.
- Tireless Warrior – finish ten Training challenges. Easy to knock out alongside normal combat.
- Battlefield Conqueror – finish ten Combat challenges. Clear camps, faction missions, and story fights to progress.
- Brilliant Tactician – finish ten Operation challenges. Track progress during normal battles so you don’t have to binge them later.
- Golden Trader – finish five Trade challenges. Use wagons and trade routes regularly.
- Beast Slayer – finish seven “New Power” trials by beating unique bosses after faction quests. Gear up—these fights are tough.
- Lord of Shadows – finish ten “Outlaw” challenges. Do them during criminal and stealth activities, not in post-game cleanup.
- Lord of Honor – finish nine “Trials and Change” challenges. They flow naturally with Grey-mane and Py-lun camp development, so keep an eye on them.
- Proud Returnee – not trial-based. Finish Chapter 7, then keep rebuilding Py-lun and switching camp types until you can return home.
- Pilgrim of Wonders – finish 60 “Secret Places” challenges. Hunt hidden caves, off-road paths, and map edges whenever new regions open.
- Puzzle Solver – finish 37 “Ancient Ruins” challenges. If you don’t want puzzle fatigue during the story, save them for a dedicated sweep later.
- Light Bringer – finish 16 “Sanctuaries” challenges. Convenient to clear while 100-percenting the map alongside nearby points of interest.
- Great Weapon Collector – finish ten “Special Weapon” challenges. Rule number one: never sell or discard special weapons—you’ll need them.
- Legend Tamer – finish ten “Horses” challenges. Work on them while travelling, not as a standalone grind.
- True Gamer – finish all five minigame sub-categories. Don’t ignore duels, strength trials, and other side activities.
- Guardian of Py-lun – story-related. Unlocks after Chapter 7.
- Supreme Hunter – finish 11 Hunting challenges. Hunt as you roam; don’t leave all eleven for the finale.
- Natural Collector – finish 12 “Life” challenges. Gather unknown materials, herbs, food, bugs, and explore caves from the start or this becomes a slog.
- Expert Storyteller – story-related. Unlocks automatically after finishing the main storyline.
- Abyss Conqueror – finish 40 Abyss challenges. Once you start the Abyss chain, push through to the end instead of dipping in randomly.
- Expert Explorer – finish nine exploration sub-categories totaling over 200 individual challenges. One of the most time-consuming trophies/achievements in the game.
- Unbeatable Strategist – finish ten Mastery sub-categories, equivalent to 64 total challenges. Essentially the “done-with-weapons-and-combat” award.
Can Any Trophies or Achievements Be Missed?
Nothing in Crimson Desert is missable. That said, with only 34 trophies/achievements to earn, some can still eat up hundreds of hours.
That’s because many awards require completing large sets of open-world trials. “Beast Slayer” or “Spire Conqueror” need fewer than ten each, but others need dozens—37 “Ancient Ruins” puzzles for “Puzzle Solver,” or 64 total Mastery trials for “Unbeatable Strategist.”
Our current estimate for 100-percent completion sits at around 400 hours. Expect a similar investment for the platinum and every other achievement.
Depending on how efficiently you play, you might need a few dozen hours more if you require extra time to master Crimson Desert’s systems.
