In Crimson Desert, self-restoring arrows are a special type of arrow you can unlock by completing the research “Natural Harmony” at the Scientific Institute in Pororin Village.
The first hurdle is simply reaching Pororin itself—the area only opens up after a specific quest.
How to get self-restoring arrows
Self-restoring arrows are the reward for finishing the “Natural Harmony” research request for Lumielle, director of the Scientific Institute in Pororin Village. To claim them, follow these steps:
- Gain access to Pororin Village.
- Complete the quest “Herbs of Vitality” for the institute director.
- Finish the research request “Natural Harmony”.

Pororin Village lies south-east of Hernand. To enter, you must first complete the quest “The Inaccessible Village.” Here’s how:
- Approach Pororin Village from any side; two Shay townsfolk will knock you out.
- Repeat this two more times.
- On the third attempt, wake up and speak with Arkin, a Shay villager in yellow clothes, to start “The Inaccessible Village.”
- Follow the quest marker back to Arkin. He’ll ask you to retrieve the Pororin Relic from “a very tall creature” roaming near Riverside Willow.
- Find the huge tree-like troll (treant) on its fixed route by the river, climb onto its head, and grab the relic.
- Return the relic to Arkin to finish the quest.
After that, you can enter Pororin Village freely.
Herbs of Vitality
Head to the Scientific Institute in Pororin Village and talk to Lumielle behind the counter to pick up “Herbs of Vitality.”
Follow the quest marker to the lavender field. Pick five lavender blossoms to satisfy the objective, then return and hand them to Lumielle.

Research: “Natural Harmony”
Speak with Lumielle and choose “Research Request.” The first option on the left will be “Natural Harmony.” Completing it takes 2 in-game hours and 1.10 silver. Confirm to start the research.
Return after two in-game hours (10 real minutes) and select “Research Complete” in the request menu to receive the self-restoring arrows and the Shadow Leaf Camouflage schematic.
To pass the time, you can use the bed inside the institute, behind Lumielle.

Despite the infinity symbol, self-restoring arrows aren’t bottomless. Instead, they’re a renewable supply of regular arrows that regenerate over time. Each arrow has a 10-second cooldown.
Equip the “Self-Restoring Arrows” item in your arrow slot like any normal arrows. You can swap arrow types via the weapon radial menu; as long as the item is in your inventory, it will appear as an option.
The arrow counter on the icon shows how many self-restoring arrows you currently have. Fire two of ten, for example, and the counter drops to 8. After five seconds it ticks to 9, and five seconds later back to 10.
If the arrows temporarily vanish from your inventory, don’t panic—they’ll reappear once the 10-second timer finishes.
Your maximum number of self-restoring arrows increases with the level of your Pororin Scientific Institute. At level 1 you get only 10 arrows. After completing a second research project, the cap rises to 25. The more research you do, the higher the limit climbs.
