At the end of each floor in the dungeon of Vampire Crawlers, you’ll encounter a boss. In addition to regular and special enemies, the game offers secret and optional bosses. One of the earliest ones is Nesufritto. Defeating him will earn you an achievement and a special gem. Although he doesn’t have many special abilities, the damage he deals can be a problem for beginners. Let’s figure out how to find and defeat Nesufritto in Vampire Crawlers.
How to Find Nesufritto
Nesufritto can be found in the Ornate Library, on the fourth floor (this location is unlocked after the first completion of the Mad Forest). Look for a red female ghost in the corner and interact with her.
If you have a Relic that marks enemies, the boss’s location will be marked on the map with a skull in a chest.

As soon as the battle begins, you’ll see a group of phantoms. Each of them deals 1 unit of damage, for a total of 5, which can be survived with sufficient armor or health. However, keep in mind that each of them will also deal 1 unit of damage when you defeat them, and there are quite a few of them.
Try to reach this floor with a maximum amount of health or at least a few armor cards. If you have Wild cards to create combinations, that’s great, but save them for later.
After destroying the last line of ghosts, Nesufritto will appear. There’s nothing special about him, but he can be dangerous if you’re playing the game for the first time and haven’t unlocked Power upgrades or aren’t familiar with the mechanics.
Nesufritto alternates between two actions: dealing 14 units of damage or gaining 200 units of armor. To win, you’ll need one of the two basic armor cards, as much health as possible, and the ability to create combinations – at least the simplest 0-1-2.
There’s nothing special to add. The battle was completed in just a couple of hours of playtime, and the deck had strong 3-cost cards like “Thousand Blades” and “Pichon”, “Holy Stick” for 2 units, and “Golden Armor”.
Reward for Defeating Nesufritto
After defeating Nesufritto, you’ll receive the “Nduya” gem. It adds “spicy” damage (additional damage) to the card you insert it into.
