In Crimson Desert, the trial “Desperate Rescue” for the artifact “Sealed Abyss” requires you to revive three allies with the skill “Healing Palm.” The fastest way to finish it is to knock a tree onto Damian or Unka with Cliff’s “Nature’s Grasp,” then pick them up from the “downed” state using “Healing Palm.” Here’s how it works.

The trial says you must heal three allies with “Healing Palm” to unlock the artifact. What it doesn’t spell out is that the heal only counts if the ally is in the “downed” state—not just bruised and missing a bit of health.
To complete it you need a way to drop an ally to zero health before you patch them up. The obvious route is to march Damian or Unka into a bandit camp and let the mobs do the dirty work, but that’s slow and unreliable if the enemies are weak. The best method is to down them yourself.
Play the main story through Chapter 3: “Howling Hill” to unlock Damian as a playable character.
Open the radial character menu by holding Up on the D-pad (controller) or F1 (keyboard/mouse).
Select Damian and press the “Summon” hotkey.
Confirm “Gather” to call her to you.
Head into the forest with her and cut down a tree.
Use “Nature’s Grasp” on the fallen trunk by pressing F + LMB (keyboard/mouse), Y + B (Xbox pad), or Triangle + Circle (PS5).
Throw the trunk onto Damian to drop her health to zero and put her in the downed state.
Hold “Healing Palm” with Middle Mouse + Tab (keyboard/mouse) or R3 + L3 (controller) to revive Damian.
Repeat twice more to complete the trial.
Interact with the “Sealed Abyss” artifact in your inventory to claim the reward.
If you’re short on Spirit for “Healing Palm” or “Nature’s Grasp,” top it up with Cliff’s “Focus” ability.
Allies that qualify for this trial in Crimson Desert are: Cliff (in companion mode), Damian, Unka, every Graymane, and prisoners you free from bandit camps.
