In Crimson Desert, the sword “Red Needle” is tucked away inside a hidden chamber in the Sanctum of Sin. The sanctum sits on an island far to the east of Delesia, in the upper-right corner of the map.
Although the blade is locked inside the Sanctum, you don’t have to defeat any bosses to claim it—just solve a short environmental puzzle.

How to get the Red Needle in Crimson Desert

Fast-travel to the Abyss Trace “Blue Thicket” on the north-western tip of the small island east of Delesia.
The Red Needle is a top-tier one-handed weapon in Crimson Desert, perfect for a crit-focused build. At max level it reaches 30 Attack and keeps its innate Crit Chance of 2 even without Abyss Gear.
Beyond raw numbers, the sword is prized for its looks: a crimson one-handed katana that closely resembles Elden Ring’s Rivers of Blood. Slot in some bleed-inflicting Abyss Gear and the cosplay is complete.
