The Golden Knotted Bow of the Ancestors is one of the most hidden weapons you can uncover in Crimson Desert. While it isn’t the strongest bow in the game, tracking it down is one of the most thrilling adventures—an Indiana-Jones-style gauntlet of ancient traps and crumbling ruins.
You can find the Golden Knotted Bow of the Ancestors at the northernmost tip of Peylon, inside the secret Peylon Ancestor Ruins. Below we’ll give you the exact location and point out every trap that can kill you on the way.

- The moment you drop down, sprint forward—the floor will collapse and drop you into lava.
- Open the door ahead. The next room hides spinning blades that sweep left-to-right. Wait for the pause, then dash to the far end.
- Up next: three moving platforms. Use Target Leap (hold L1/LB, aim, press Square/X). Watch out for the swinging braziers.
- At the dead end, jump and trigger Palmora Strike (R3) to mantle up the wall. A sealed door awaits.
- Simply walk up to the door to open it. Inside, on the floor, lies your prize—the Golden Knotted Bow of the Ancestors.
Stats and Upgrades
| Attack | 19 |
|---|---|
| Crit Chance | Lv. 1 |
| Upgrade Slots | 3 |
| Abyss Gear (5) | Attack 2 Crit 1 Siphon Health Lv.1 Empty Empty |
- Fully upgraded, the bow reaches 35 Attack and keeps its Level 1 Crit Chance.
- Among found bows those numbers are a bit underwhelming, especially the crit rate.
- The upside: five Abyss Gear slots, giving huge build-crafting potential.
- Explosive or infinite arrows can make any bow viable, and the journey to claim this one is already half the fun—so the choice is yours.
Remember: often it’s not the bow but the arrows and the Abyss Gear you slot in that truly matter.
