In the Roblox game Bite by Night, Scrap is the main in-game currency needed to unlock new survivor classes and animatronic (killer) types. It adds variety and depth to the gameplay. Besides the two free characters—Buyer and Rotten—you can unlock others with better running speed, health, stamina, and unique abilities that help either escape the killer or track down survivors faster.
Scrap can be earned in several ways: daily rewards, successful match completion, and in-game purchases. Below, we break down each method in detail.
Finish the Round
In Bite by Night, you earn Scrap for completing core objectives, whether you play as a survivor or a killer. As a survivor, you need to repair all generators, insert batteries, and survive until 6 a.m. As an animatronic, you must hunt down and eliminate all survivors before time runs out.
The most reliable farming method is playing as a survivor (just disable the killer option in settings). A well-played match can net you up to 500 Scrap. Solo generator repairs yield more currency than teamwork, so tackle them yourself when possible. We also recommend saving up for the Guard class (1,100 Scrap), which grants camera access, lets you tag generators on the map, and helps you locate them quickly—speeding up the whole process.
Consider buying the VIP game pass from the store. It boosts your Scrap earnings per match by 1.5×, meaning more currency for the same amount of time.

Another great way to get Scrap is by claiming daily login rewards. After you ride the elevator down to the first floor, a reward window will appear where you can collect your currency.
Players can earn up to 3,000 Scrap over seven consecutive days—more than enough to buy the Guard class and start active farming. Here are the daily rewards:
| Day | Reward |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | 200 Scrap |
| Day 2 | 300 Scrap |
| Day 3 | 400 Scrap |
| Day 4 | 450 Scrap |
| Day 5 | 500 Scrap |
| Day 6 | 550 Scrap |
| Day 7 | 600 Scrap |
In-Game Store
Finally, you can buy Scrap bundles directly from the in-game store. Unlike the previous methods, this one costs real money via Robux (Roblox’s currency), but the bundles can be repurchased without limit. To open the store, click the first icon on the left side of the screen, then tap the Robux symbol to see all offers:
- 375 Scrap for 75 Robux
- 750 Scrap for 149 Robux
- 1,500 Scrap for 299 Robux
- 2,500 Scrap for 499 Robux
What to Spend Scrap on in Bite by Night
Currently, players can spend Scrap to unlock three new survivor classes and two killer classes, plus their special skins and emotes—all available in the store.
A unique feature of Bite by Night is that Scrap can also be spent on game passes. There are two right now. The VIP pass offers nice perks: an announcement when you join a VIP server, a VIP crown, a VIP emote, and increased money and XP per match. There’s also an emote page-2 pass that unlocks exclusive emotes, though it’s pricier than the rest.
