Bite by Night on Roblox offers a variety of emotes for survivors and killers, letting you express panic, joy, horror, and more.
Standard emotes can be found in every character’s profile in the shop, while exclusive ones require a game pass. This guide explains how to unlock emotes and how to equip and use them in a match.

How to unlock emotes in Bite by Night
There are currently two ways to get emotes.
Buy them in the shop

The easiest method is to purchase emotes from the shop. Here’s how:
In the lobby (not during a match), click the shopping-cart icon on the left side of the screen.
Pick any character under “Animatronics” or “Survivors” and open the “Emotes” tab.
Scroll through the list and hit “Buy” on the emote you want.
Each emote costs in-game currency called Scrap, so make sure you have enough.
An emote bought for any survivor is unlocked for every survivor of that type (Client, Fighter, Medic, Guard). The same goes for killers: buy it once and every animatronic can use it.
Special emotes are locked behind the VIP pass. It costs 15 000 Scrap, which you can earn by playing matches, collecting daily rewards, and redeeming codes. To buy the pass:
Open the in-game shop by clicking the cart icon.
Click the Robux icon to enter the premium section.
Select VIP under game passes and purchase it with Scrap or Robux.
This unlocks the “Smile” emote, equippable on any survivor, plus other bonuses.
How to use emotes in Bite by Night
Save
To use an emote, you first need to place it on your emote wheel. You have four quick-access slots. Here’s the setup:
In the lobby, click the backpack icon on the side of the screen to open your inventory.
Choose “Survivors” or “Animatronics,” then click the hanger icon in the character profile.
Open the “Emotes” tab, hit “Equip,” and pick one of the four quick slots.
Once you’re done, press “B” in the lobby or during a match to open the emote wheel and select an animation.
With only four slots but plenty of emotes (20 for survivors, 4 for killers), you can unlock a second wheel by purchasing the “Second Emote Page” pass for 8 500 Scrap. This gives you four extra slots.
