Crimson Desert is packed with materials for upgrading gear and crafting. One of them is Sulfur, which can only be harvested from specific sources.
Sulfur drops from Sulfur Hex Crabs. Bring weapons and healing items—those critters explode on death.

- Sulfur Hex Crabs live in the Sulfur Springs of the Demeniss region. Head far north, just above the second “E” in “Demeniss,” on Mount Deadfire.
- They disguise themselves as rocks around the springs. Look for a greenish stone with a jet of water shooting from the top.
- Attack the stone and it morphs into a Sulfur Hex Crab. Watch the death blast—it can kill you if your health is low.
- Each kill yields 2–5 Sulfur.
- Farm them endlessly: teleport to the Abyss Trace in the middle of the springs (see images above) to reset the spawns.
Use the collected Sulfur to craft platinum ingots.
