The Snow Ibex is a unique mount in Crimson Desert that you can earn by defeating a boss named Moren, the Master Hunter of the Misty Forest. He can be found in the Wandering Woods area of Paylun. Beating him rewards an item any witch in the game can turn into a sigil. Use that sigil and you’ll unlock the ability to call the ibex as your ride.

How to get the Ibex mount
Save
It’s not clear whether you can simply walk into the marked hunting grounds and meet the boss. In our case the encounter triggered only after we finished Paylun’s faction questline. If Moren isn’t there, try meeting these requirements:
Complete all 15 non-combat militia quests in Paylun.
Unlock the “White Bear” mount.
Finish the Skoghorn tribe storyline “Shepherd of Souls”.
Once all three are done, the Longleaf tribe faction will appear in your journal under Paylun’s “Faction Quests” tab. Check whether the quest “Hunt for Sport” is available. If it isn’t, visit the Longleaf village in the Silver Wolf mountains and check again.
Fighting boss Moren

This boss can be a real headache. He’s a mounted archer riding a snow ibex, and the battlefield is patrolled by his hunter tribesmen who’ll try to interfere. Moren roams the area marked on your map. Spotting him is easy thanks to his oversized mount, or you can track him by casting “Fire” and following the yellow trails.
The simplest way to deal with Moren is the “Wind Veil” skill with the “Energy Release” upgrade unlocked. Enter concentration mode and wait for him to draw his bow. When he fires, use “Rise” to block the arrows, then trigger “Energy Release” to send them back. Repeat until he falls.
Moren has two health bars. When the first is depleted he’ll vanish in a puff of smoke. Return to the marked area and track him down again.
Unlocking the Ibex mount
Save
After beating Moren, head to any witch hut in Crimson Desert and talk to the witch. Choose “Craft Abyss Gear”, switch to the “Special Items” tab, and you’ll see the option to craft the “Sigil of Solidarity” using the Snow Ibex Horn dropped by the boss. Craft it and use it from your inventory to unlock the mount.
The Snow Ibex has the following stats:
400 HP
300 Stamina
25 Attack
0 Defense
On paper it’s no better than a legendary horse upgraded to level 5, and it’s not much of a fighter either. If you need a top-tier travel companion, look elsewhere.
