Fortnite OG has rolled into its eighth season, dropping players straight into the vibe of Chapter 1’s “X Marks the Spot.” One of the most iconic moments from that era was the Endgame LTM, born from the Marvel crossover.
In this mode you can become Thanos yourself and help your squad hunt the Infinity Stones. Here’s how to pull it off.
When you queue into Endgame you’re randomly placed on one of two teams: Heroes or Thanos’ Chitauri. Heroes must stop Thanos’ army from claiming the Infinity Stones, while the Chitauri need to deliver every stone to their leader.
Once the Heroes collectively eliminate 60 Chitauri, respawns for the villain side shut off. Conversely, once all six Infinity Stones are collected, Heroes lose the ability to respawn. The first team to run out of fighters loses.
While Endgame isn’t a carbon copy of the original Infinity Gauntlet LTM, it still lets you step into Thanos’ boots. To become Thanos in Endgame, be the first player in the match to pick up any Infinity Stone.
If the current Thanos is taken down, he’ll respawn after a short delay. Once the Chitauri’s respawns are disabled and the final Thanos is eliminated, the mantle passes to the next player who grabs a stone.
