In Raccoin, a roguelike fused with arcade mechanics, success hinges not just on luck and skill but also on the difficulty level you pick. Each tier comes as a ticket that piles new trials on top of the old ones, steadily cranking the challenge up. Let’s break down what every rung on that ladder actually means.

Raccoin has eight difficulty levels, and each one stacks on top of the previous. Pick the “Blue Ticket,” for example, and you’ll deal with its own twist plus every restriction that came before it.
| Ticket (Difficulty) | Effect |
|---|---|
| Green Ticket | Standard difficulty, available from the start. |
| Crispy Ticket | Every copper, silver, or gold coin has a 10 % chance to turn into a “Quinky”—a worthless token that scores nothing. |
| Blue Ticket | Each extra visit to the shop raises prices by 20 %. Prices reset every new round. |
| Orange Ticket | Caps magazine expansion at five upgrades—one less than normal. |
| Wizard Ticket | All “Bad Coins” become either “Very Bad” (can’t be converted or scored) or “Demonic” (66.6 % chance to respawn after destruction). |
| Evil Ticket | The shop can now stock “Rusty Coins,” which can’t be modified in any way. |
| “Moo” Ticket | At the start of every round a “Sturdy Fence” spawns—an indestructible physical obstacle. |
| Golden Ticket | The shop offers one fewer coin for purchase each time you enter. |
To unlock the next difficulty you must finish at least one run on the current tier. If you’re hitting a wall, check out the beginner tips, character tier list, or the power-up guide for a leg up.
