In the course of everyday life in Paralives, your characters can unfortunately fall ill and bring home something unpleasant from work — like a nasty stomach bug.
Sickness puts a real damper on your characters, so you’ll want to get them back on their feet as quickly as possible. Here’s everything you need to know to nurse the poor souls back to health.

What happens when your characters get sick?

When a character is under the weather, it throws their needs out of whack. For instance, a stomach bug basically kills their hunger meter — they’re too queasy to eat — but their sleep and toilet bars will drain faster, so you’ll need to keep a closer eye on them to keep those meters in the green.
Characters also become less efficient at everyday tasks, including work. From what we can tell, illnesses last roughly 12 hours.
How to cure your characters
On the city map, there are two medical centers: a smaller one marked “Pharmacy” across from the pizzeria, and a larger hospital across from the community center. Click on either one with a sick character and select “Seek Help” to get them treated.
Medicine-themed furniture for your home won’t do the trick.

If one of your characters has the social skill “Caring for Others,” you can ask them to whip up some chicken noodle soup. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to have any real effect on the illness or the recovery process.
