Where to Find Every Shrine in Crimson Desert: Complete Guide with Maps

Shrines in Crimson Desert are sacred sites that mostly belong to witches. You can help them by cleansing the shrines that have been defiled and seized by cultists. The world of Pywel is vast, and as you explore, you’ll come across many shrines. Here’s where to find every shrine and how to reach it in Crimson Desert.

All Shrine Locations in Crimson Desert

There are 16 shrines in total. You can view the full list in the “Shrines” tab under “Challenges.” Note that you can’t cleanse a shrine until you meet the witch it belongs to. You can defeat the enemies and free it, but cleansing won’t be possible.

Shrine of Abstinence: Location

Witch of Wisdom

The Shrine of Abstinence lies south of Unicorn Bluff, in the Grace Estate of Hernand. Head south of the Nas River and follow the dirt road to reach it. You’ll need to find two Fusion Cores to cleanse it.

Shrine of Forgiveness: Location

On the map, the Shrine of Forgiveness is visible south of Scholastown. To reach it, climb the mountain. Luckily, there are plenty of Abyssal Nexuses and lanterns around. Besides regular foes, you’ll also have to defeat the Sword of Antumbra to free the shrine. Find the missing Fusion Cores and slot them to cleanse.

Shrine of Blessing: Location

Witch of Wisdom

Head to the western side of Hernand, just under the letter “E” in “Hernand,” to find the Shrine of Blessing. Start from Hernand city and follow the dirt road a little northwest to reach the shrine. Defeat the enemies and cleanse it to earn the Witch of Wisdom’s thanks.

Shrine of Penance: Location

The Shrine of Penance sits very close to the Shrine of Abstinence. Travel southeast from Unicorn Bluff along the dirt road to spot it. There’s no boss here—just slay the cultists and find the Fusion Cores.

Shrine of Exaltation: Location

Witch of Benevolence

The Shrine of Exaltation lies just east of the Silver Wolf. Follow the dirt road northwest from Pailune to reach it. It belongs to the Witch of Benevolence, so be sure to find her before attempting to cleanse it.

Shrine of Solace: Location

The Shrine of Solace sits southwest of Pailune city or east of the Witch’s House. Use the letter “A” in “Pailune” as a landmark to spot it easily. Defeat the Staff of Antumbra and the cultists to free it, then find a Fusion Core to cleanse.

Shrine of Deliverance: Location

Witch of Benevolence

Head southeast from the Stormclaw Ridge to spot the Shrine of Deliverance in Pailune. A dirt road links it to other areas, so getting there is straightforward. Find the Fusion Cores and cleanse the shrine.

Shrine of Atonement: Location

To find the Shrine of Atonement, return to Hernand and head north of the first letter “A” on the map. Defeat the enemies and cleanse the shrine.

Shrine of Devotion: Location

Witch of Humility

Head west from Emberhaven in Demenisse to find the Shrine of Devotion. It sits right beside one of the dirt roads—simply follow it into the area.

Shrine of Reverence: Location

Travel to Delezia and approach the Blue Thicket to enter the Shrine of Reverence. Deal with the cultists and cleanse the shrine.

Shrine of Faith: Location

Drop down from the Blue Thicket in Delezia into the Greywood to find the Shrine of Faith. Activate the nearby Abyssal Nexus for easier future access.

Shrine of Sacrifice: Location

On the opposite shore of Delezia, follow the dirt road uphill to stumble upon the Shrine of Sacrifice. Find a Fusion Core to complete the task.

Shrine of Expiation: Location

The Shrine of Expiation lies east of Drakefall Canyon, in the Aserian Estate. Activate the generator with Fusion Cores to cleanse the shrine.

Shrine of Renunciation: Location

While exploring Crimson Desert, head to the Shrine of Renunciation, located northeast of Drywind Valley in Tashkalpe.

Shrine of Revelation: Location

Witch of Power

Head northeast of Serpent Marsh and enter the Shrine of Revelation to defeat cultists and the Spear of Antumbra. Once freed, cleanse the shrine.

The Witch of Power is in Crimson Desert, and you won’t receive her shrine-cleansing quests until you reach a certain point in the main story.

Shrine of Mortification: Location

Witch Under the Veil

Cleansing the Shrine of Mortification is part of the “Fragments of Darkness” quest. It’s located northwest of the Golden Plains in Demenisse, within Byron’s Estate. You can’t cleanse it until the required main-story quest is triggered.
