In Pragmata, there aren’t many characters to fall in love with, but Cabin is a strong contender. This humanoid computer of the Shelter, who refers to itself in the plural, is always ready to bestow upon you a cheerful smile and provide access to all sorts of game information.
But if you’re playing with sound and have heard a strange “ta-da!” sound, that means you’ve stumbled upon a Cabin mini-figure in Pragmata. This is a series of optional collectibles hidden in most sectors, which populate your statue collection for display in the Shelter.
Cabin Figures – Optional Collectibles
In the Shelter in Pragmata, you’ll have plenty of reasons to talk to Cabin: to work on her achievement cards and continue to unlock rewards for Cabin Coins, ask about new training simulations that Hugh and Diana found while exploring the latest sector, or even just to change the music playing in the Shelter. But you’ll also find many of her figures in various sectors.
On the Firmware Updater console in your Shelter – the same one used to upgrade the main equipment of Hugh and Diana – and on the Unit Printer on the other side, you’ll find a place for a whole collection of optional figures of Cabin in different poses and outfits. They serve as decorative elements for your Shelter.
There are two achievements in Pragmata related to finding Cabin figures: the “Well Spotted!” trophy for finding the very first figure, and the “Supreme Miniature Hunter” trophy for finding the last one.
As you progress through the five main sectors of the game, you’ll discover that in each sector of Pragmata, three figures are hidden. Thus, by the end of the game, you’ll have to find a total of 15 figures. However, unlike most collectibles in Pragmata, there are no special marks on the map indicating their location, so the search falls entirely on your shoulders.
Cabin mini-figures are very small and easy to miss, especially if you’re playing without sound, as they make a loud repeating “ta-da” sound that can be heard when you’re nearby. You’ll be able to determine the source of the sound by moving towards it, like in a game of “hot and cold”.
Figures are usually located in secluded spots. Many of them require deliberate platforming or backtracking to already explored areas. To find all 15 figures, you’ll need to thoroughly search every nook and cranny of Pragmata’s sectors. It’s recommended to upgrade your jetpack beforehand, as you’ll need a good jump to access some figures.
When you find one of the 15 mini-figures in the game world, simply discovering it is not enough! To officially acquire the Cabin figure in Pragmata, you need to shoot it with Hugh’s weapon to break and collect it. You don’t need to pick it up afterwards – each found mini-figure will automatically appear on the table in the Shelter.
Searching for Cabin figures doesn’t have any particular practical use, apart from getting trophies and bragging rights – Cabin herself won’t reward you for your efforts. Nevertheless, in action-RPGs like this one, it’s always nice to find as many collectibles as possible!
