Trying to track down all 6 Ancient Fragments in Sailor Piece so you can unlock the Dungeons? If you have no idea what they are, they’re tiny jigsaw pieces an NPC on Dungeon Island will ask you to collect once you hit level 5000. They’re well hidden, so picking them up can be a pain. If you can’t work out where these relics are hiding, we’ve listed every Ancient Fragment location below.

How to find all 6 Ancient Fragments in Sail Piece

Before you can pick up the first piece, you need to accept the hunt. At level 5,000, head to Dungeon Island and talk to the Dungeon NPC. He’ll give you a quest that ultimately opens the Dungeons, starting with the task of finding 6 Ancient Fragments.

Here’s how the quest works. You have to locate each of the six fragments (they look like white jigsaw pieces) in a specific order. Each fragment is hidden on one of the first six ordinary islands you visit in the game. Sailor Island doesn’t count because it’s a trading hub. In other words, you need to pick up one piece per island, moving through them in this order:

  • Starter Island
  • Jungle Island
  • Desert Island
  • Snow Island
  • Shibuya Station
  • Hollow Island

The first Ancient Fragment is on Starter Island. Walk up the stairs from the beach and look for the first house on your right. The fragment is leaning against the back wall of that house.

The second Ancient Fragment is on Jungle Island. Exit the portal, face the island and follow the stone path that runs along its left-hand edge. The fragment sits on one of the lower stones.

The fourth Ancient Fragment is hidden on Snow Island. Go to the village in the centre of the island and find the pond behind the igloo. Stand in the middle of the pond, face the igloo and look at the tree on your left. The fragment is behind it.

Climb onto this roof and you’ll find the Ancient Fragment between the skyscraper and the building next to it.

The fifth Ancient Fragment is on Shibuya Station.

Head to the Cursed King boss spawn on the elevated walkway in the west of the island. Climb the walkway, then onto the roof of the building to your right. In the narrow gap between that building and the skyscraper protruding from the roof you’ll find the Ancient Fragment.

. When you arrive, head to the building at the far end of the island. On its roof you’ll see a dome. Climb the dome and walk around the ledge. On the far side, facing the ocean, you’ll find the fragment.

How to unlock the Dungeons in Sail Piece

With all the fragments in your pocket, a new objective appears: defeat 25 bosses. Just find 25 bosses you can reliably kill and start farming. A personal tip: stock up on Boss Keys, go to Boss Island and repeatedly kill the Knight boss until the quota is filled. It counts toward the quest and also drops Boss Tickets, which you can later trade for swords with the Boss Trader NPC. On Shibuya Station, three bosses spawn every five minutes and they’re all fairly easy.

When the quest is complete, the Dungeons officially open. Return to the Dungeon NPC and use Dungeon Keys to enter one of several trial rooms filled with loot, EXP and runes.

If you’ve just unlocked Dungeons and don’t know where to spend your keys, my advice is to pick the Rune Dungeon.

Farming this dungeon gives you access to a new type of equipment: Runes. These relics drop as you fight through waves of enemies inside the dungeon. Slotting them into your build will boost your power, damage and defence. Clearing the Rune Dungeon also increases your Rune Level.
