The “Where’s Home” quest in Neverness to Everness is one of the shortest commissions available to players. Instead of fighting a massive boss in a strange dungeon, you simply need to deal with a set of floating clothing armed with what appears to be a cursed sword. It can be found on the construction site in the residential area west of Ficus Avenue in Illusion Town. Despite its simplicity, this quest is definitely worth completing, as defeating the anomaly will reward you with a free Arc and valuable resources.

Where to Find the “Where’s Home” Quest in NTE
To locate the “Where’s Home” quest, head to the construction site marked on the map with the Cursed Blade icon. There you’ll see a sword stuck in the ground. Approaching it will trigger a battle with the “Crimson Blade” anomaly. Defeat it with any NTE team you have, and you’ll receive a generous reward.
If you’ve already completed the “Where’s Home” quest before, you can replay it by following these steps:
Open the map.
Press the “Anomaly Quest” button in the bottom‑right corner of the screen.
Select the “High‑Risk Quests” tab.
Find and select the “Where’s Home” quest.
This essentially restarts the battle with the Crimson Blade, but with a few differences. First, you now have limited time to win, so make sure your team is as strong as possible. Second, each completion unlocks a more challenging version of the battle. For every stage you clear, you’ll receive 10 Annulites, 25 Hazardous Hunting Medals, and 2400 Fons. Finally, a special mechanic will be introduced on the last two levels of the “Where’s Home” quest that you’ll need to adapt to.
After completing the “Where’s Home” quest for the first time, the “Crimson Blade” anomaly will disappear from the construction site.
The “Naked Blade” is an A‑rank equipable Arc for Plasma‑type characters. It can be obtained from NTE’s gacha banners, but if you want to get one for free, you can obtain a copy by defeating the Crimson Blade in the “Where’s Home” quest.
This is an Attack‑oriented Arc with Attack as its secondary stat. Its ability deals additional Spell Damage based on the owner’s Attack stat when they parry an attack. Since it’s a Plasma Arc, only Plasma characters like Nanally, Hathor, and Aurora can equip it. Ironically, none of the three scale with Spell Damage, so using the “Naked Blade” with them won’t be as effective—unless the Arc’s damage depends on the character’s Spell Damage.
