While investigating the cause of the campus fire, Max and Chloe split up to check different leads. While playing as Chloe in the “Snapping Turtle” bar, you’ll need to infiltrate the protesters and gain access to their online forum. This is tied to the missable achievement “Not a Rat.” To succeed, you’ll need to perform several actions and give the correct answers in the dialogue with Joey.
How to infiltrate the protesters
Save
First, find the protesters. The easiest way is to talk to Ren, who’s standing to the right of the stage. Discuss every topic to learn about the online forum they use for coordination. You’ll discover that flyers from the last meeting might still be around.
Turn 180 degrees and head to the fireplace at the far end of the hall. To the left of it you’ll see a trash can. Inspect it to find a scorched scrap of a flyer. The password for the forum is still legible on it.
How to access the online forum
Save
Approach the bar and talk to Amanda. Mention the online forum and she’ll say it’s password-protected. You’ll get a dialogue option to say you know the password. Amanda will offer her laptop so you can browse the forum together.
On the forum page you can click the highlighted elements to hear Chloe’s comments. Pay close attention to the usernames, the motto at the top of the page, and someone’s excuse for missing the last meeting—you’ll need this info soon.
How to convince Joey you’re one of them
Save
Once you have forum access, locate Joey. He’s standing alone between the bar and the fireplace where you found the flyer.
In the conversation with him, choose these answers:
“I’m CardinalSin.”
“The Bowling League.”
“Sic semper tyrannis.”
After these lines, Joey will believe Chloe is part of the protest and will share crucial details about the time and place of the upcoming march.
This will earn you the “Not a Rat” achievement. If you mess up the answers, you can use the Scene Select feature from the main menu to replay this moment.
