In Darwin’s Paradox, there are 20 discoveries hidden – these are newspaper clippings and posters hidden off the main path. They reveal the strange world of UFOOD Inc. and the conspiracy lurking within. To find them all, you’ll need a keen eye and a willingness to look into every nook and cranny that Darwin’s tentacles can reach.

Luckily, none of the discoveries can be permanently missed. The chapter select menu in the game allows you to return to any level at any time, so the path to 100% completion is always open. Use this guide to find all the discoveries without any unnecessary guessing.

The table below lists all the discoveries in the game. Use the chapter select menu to see which chapters have undiscovered discoveries!

Chapter Discovery Location
Down in the Dumps – 1 A glowing newspaper board – essentially your first introduction to discoveries.
Down in the Dumps – 2 After distracting the rat pack with a UFOOD can and pushing a separate UFOOD box through a long tunnel, use the box to jump left at the tunnel exit. Sneak back through the level, use the swinging claw to get into a small area where you’ll find this ad.
Down in the Dumps – 5 After the green goo section and acquiring the ability to cling to any surface, climb back up the vertical tunnel that led to the water. On the left, you’ll find this discovery.
Things are Heating Up! – 4 On the conveyor belt challenge, you’ll need to jump into a hidden area in the top-right corner of the screen. Use the angle of one of the buckets to get there. Don’t worry too much about the hot pipe – a second of heat exposure won’t kill you.
Things are Heating Up! – 6 When you reach the second set of swinging platforms (the first where there are two at the same time), you’ll see a small niche in a pile of UFOOD boxes on the left. The discovery is inside.
Hide & Seek – 2 It can’t actually be missed: it’s under the building you crawl under during the camouflage sequence.
Dang! This Stinks and Stings – 4 As soon as you enter the shaft section, head left through the pipe.
Kicking Cans – 1 At the very start, after escaping the seagull, climb onto the van and enter the building on the right through the open window.
Kicking Cans – 5 You’ll see this during the ventilation shaft section. Keep moving until you enter a room filled with cardboard cutouts. Climb into the ceiling vent on the right to reach the poster.
Out of the Pot and Into the Fire – 2 At the very start of this chapter, run left along the first conveyor belt to find this discovery.
Getting to the Bottom of Things – 2 In the bottom-right corner of the vast ocean area you start in, you’ll find a sunken ship. Swim through the large central smokestack to get inside and find this discovery.
Getting to the Bottom of Things – 3 To the right of the room with the huge red button.
In Troubled Waters After avoiding the first sonar ship, you’ll find this in the cave with mushrooms that leads down.
Into the Abyss – 1 At the start of the chapter, in the right part of the vertical tunnel, there’s a cave.
Suiting Up! – 1 When you get into the robot suit, immediately move left through two sets of doors.
Suiting Up! – 3 In the sequence with moving platforms and red buttons, there’s a doorway to this discovery in the top-left corner of the screen.
Training Away – 1 You’ll need to achieve the best time (in other words, complete it in under 3 minutes) in the time trial in this chapter.
Training Away – 2 When you reach the flooded room where the martial arts masters trained, you’ll find this discovery right above the right entrance, through which you came, in a small niche.
Really Weird Science! – 1 In the large area at the start of the chapter, climb down the right wall below the section with the harpoon you normally use to progress. It’s at the very bottom of the right section.
HQ or Bust – 1 Impossible to miss.

As you find new discoveries, you’ll be unlocking achievements and new skins for Darwin! They unlock every five discoveries found.
