The bad, also known as the “false,” ending is unlocked if, in the final of the game, you select the option “Destroy Elpis” on the terminal. To the question “What did the creator wish for?” you must enter the answer “Destruction”. This ending does not involve a battle with the final boss – the game will end with a cutscene followed by credits.

This time, reaching the control panel, choose “Release Elpis” and as the answer to the question, enter “Hope”. This action will open the compartment with the drug that Zenos will later use. The drug didn’t live up to expectations, and the arriving Victor takes control of the terminal alone, leading to the destruction of the building. Leon and Grace fall downwards, after which they separate, and Leon is confronted by Victor.

How to Defeat the Final Boss Victor

The infected mutant has three phases:

During the first phase, he is in his normal form and has the ability to grab the player up close, as well as dodge some explosions. We avoid his attacks and shoot at his vulnerable spot – the head.

After a certain amount of time, the mutant flies away on a tentacle to one of the corners of the arena and starts charging with electricity. From this point on, his tentacles can deal damage with electric discharges from a distance. After the first shot, Victor jumps towards Leon, dealing area damage. We dodge attacks and continue to attack the boss, aiming primarily for the head.

After the destruction of the physical shell, a huge monster grows out of him. Like the overwhelming majority of bosses in RE, he is able to hit the arena with one hand, make a wide swing with the second hand, as well as use both simultaneously.

To destroy him, it is necessary to shoot at special points – red growths that grow over time on the body: first on the head, and then at the base. After a while, the boss will enter the second phase, where he grabs Leon. You will need to complete a QTE, after which you will destroy the last mutant core.

Having done this, we watch the final cutscene and credits.
