After years of working for Big Jim Kowalski, you’ve earned a reputation as the city’s best crime-scene cleaner—which, unfortunately for you, hasn’t gone unnoticed. A shadowy outfit calling itself “The Community” has sent you a letter demanding your services.
The Community owns two huge facilities packed with bodies, secrets, and assorted oddities, so Kowalski will have his work cut out for him. To help you hit 100 % completion in the “Community Alter Ego” mission, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know.
Complete walkthrough: “Community Alter Ego”
The mission starts in the basement. To your left is a boat exit; to your right, a staircase leading up into the building above. Head up the stairs to reach an old office storeroom. Check the poster on the left wall. Ahead lies the main hall of the Old Office; around the right corner is a bucket-wash station.
In this mission you must locate:
- 13 bodies
- 2 secrets
- 3 CDs
- 15 pieces of evidence
Old Office
When you enter the main hall of the Old Office, clean and return the pedestal and bust. Clear the trash, scrub the blood, then inspect the writing desk.
A body here can be dropped down the stairwell you came up.
Grab the audio recording (evidence) from under the desk and the red-button device (evidence) in front of it, next to the body.
Clean the cushions before putting the chairs back.
Take the ram skull from the desk and carry it upstairs; it belongs on one of the pillars. Clear the remaining trash and blood, then find the animal skull on the chandelier. Clean it before returning it to the right-hand pedestal.
Pick up the book “On the Origin of Species” from the desk and loot the valuables. Head back downstairs, use the book to open the hidden door in the bookcase near the bucket station. The last bloodstain you need for the Old Office is just beyond that secret door.
Elevator
There’s a body here and blood to scrub. Call the lift, hit “0” to ride down to the exit and dispose of the two bodies you’ve found. Ride back up and press 2 to reach the next section.
Laboratory
Directly ahead is the fuse room. Install any fuses you find here. The first fuse is in this very room, so pop it into the water section and start cleaning.
Clear as much trash and blood as possible, right overturned furniture and barrels. Manually crack the locked containers to pull out leftover trash and some valuables.
Standing with your back to the lift, the lab bay is on the left; on the right is another section with two locked doors. A bit farther on you’ll spot a small lift platform leading upstairs—you can ride it once you’ve tidied the main floor.
In the left lab bay, grab the suspicious chip (evidence) from the surgical tray and the audio recording (evidence) on the desk to the left. A body is stashed in the cabinet at the far end.
In the next section, right of the capsule corridor, scrub more blood and return the barrels. Pick up the donor list (evidence) from the desk with the laptop. Pull the body out of the overhead vent shaft.
Reach the end of the zone, find the small lift platform and ride it upstairs.
Break Room
To the left of the lift platform, a crate holds a conductor spool—leave it for now. Head right into the control room, scrub the blood and fix the lockers. Grab the morgue key (evidence) on the right, the audio recording (evidence) from the left desk and dispose of the body.
Directly in front of the platform is a phone (evidence). Climb the stairs on the left to reach the cell block.
Cell Block
One cell contains a fuse on the floor, but the door is locked. Enter the adjacent cell, smash the crate and the wooden boards on the left wall to slip through.
Grab the fuse and drop through the hole in the floor. Install the fuse in the second slot to power the cryo pods. Pull the body from the first pod near the main lift; another body is in the center-right pod.
Morgue
You can now open the morgue door with the key you found upstairs. On the right is an audio recording (evidence).
Scrub the blood and dispose of the body after retrieving the syringe (evidence) from it.
Cell Block (continued)
Head back upstairs and proceed to the far end to find another control room. On the desk are an audio recording (evidence) and another fuse. Install it, then return to the lift platform and grab the conductor spool from the crate to its left.
Go to the left lab bay and head left through the unlocked doors to reach Test Chamber A: Endurance.
Test Chamber A: Endurance
Pick up the audio recording “Pain Test NB.74” (evidence) before entering, then scrub the blood and remove the body. Slot the spool into the wall receptacle. Once the chamber is spotless, exit and head straight ahead to find an empty power cell.
Carry the empty cell back to the test chamber and place it on the electric chair.
Don’t carry the cell through the doors—shove it through the side wall to avoid triggering a lockdown.
Flip the power switch on the far side of the glass to charge the cell. Retrieve the charged cell and install it where you found it. A fuse in this chamber is locked inside a crate—open it the same way you charged the cell, then install the fuse in the fuse room.
Place your ozonator on the electric chair to charge it with the new shell.
Hidden Room
After installing the charged power cell in the wall, hit the switch beside it to descend into a hidden room. Grab the cash from the safe before you leave.
Cell Block (continued)
With the cell-block bridge now lowered, you can reach the other side of the cell wing.
Find a body behind a brick wall in one cell and another body in the adjacent cell. Pick up the spoon (evidence) before entering the locked room. Scrub the blood behind the brick wall and return the teddy bear and photos to their places.
Approach the cell-block control room and pull the big wall lever. Sprint back to the bridge to ride it up into the secret area.
Secret Room (CD 01)
When the bridge rises, a small hatch opens. Crouch and crawl into the secret room to find a CD. Loot the golden eggs and golden duck from the left-hand cabinet.
Test Chamber B: Behavior (CD 02)
Below the lift platform, right of the control room, lies the second test chamber. On entry you’ll be told the entire room must be scrubbed and tidied or the doors won’t open. Grab the machete (evidence) from the table. Apart from general cleaning and straightening, there’s little to do here. A body lies in the bathtub in the final room.
Return to the room before the last one, smash the painting and wooden boards to access the space behind, and collect the CD.
Office (CD 03)
Climb the stairs again and you’ll find the large mysterious door behind the lift platform now open. It leads to an office where a body slumps over the desk. Clear the trash, scrub the blood, pick up the audio recording (evidence) from the desk and the pistol (evidence) from the floor. The CD is behind the desk.
