The puzzle genre is considered one of the least dynamic casual genres. In addition to excellent visual memory, he necessarily requires patience and perseverance from the players. Therefore, it is unlikely to suit fans of a frenzied “drive”. Moreover, contrary to the pattern characteristic of most casual genres, the game does not become more complicated, but on the contrary, it becomes easier as a particular puzzle is assembled.
The hardest part is to assemble the puzzle at the beginning, when none of the puzzle pieces have yet fallen into their rightful place. In the process of gradually collecting the picture, the game becomes easier. After all, the place of any next piece is easier to find than the place of the previous one, due to the fact that the picture is slowly emerging, and also due to the regularity that the number of remaining puzzle pieces (and therefore the places on the drawing — the playing field for them) decreases with each successful move by one unit. Therefore, be prepared for long thoughts at the initial stage of assembling the puzzle. Use the “hint” button as little as possible. Its use will not allow you to gain gaming experience, unlike successful moves made independently (that is, without the help of a “hint”).
The true clues are three things. The first is the pictures on the puzzles and their correlation with the desired pattern. To do this, you will need, already mentioned, excellent visual memory. The second clue is the shape of the pieces of the drawing. In order to compare it with the desired pattern and puzzle pieces already located (as a result of successful moves) on the playing field, you need… Visual memory again.
The third clue will be the details of the shape of the puzzle pieces. The extreme (lowest, top, left, right) pieces of the puzzle have one (corner — two) straight faces, unlike the puzzle pieces, whose true place is located in the rest of it. However, in order to see the form again, visual memory is needed. Only by learning to catch all three types of hints will you be able to confidently collect puzzles. If you only have enough patience, which is quite important for playing this genre. The last tip is to start with simple difficulty modes.
Complex puzzles (or rather hundreds of pieces of complex puzzles) may well put a beginner into a stupor and completely discourage his interest in this casual genre. Consider applications with puzzles, they are mostly made for children, so this is an ideal option for beginners.
