The next Disney franchise coming to Fortnite is Toy Story. Players have been eagerly awaiting these cosmetics in the Item Shop, but there’s a unique chance to unlock them early—and for free.
How to unlock Zurg and Buzz Lightyear early and free in Fortnite
The Buzz Lightyear and Emperor Zurg outfits will hit the Item Shop when it refreshes at 03:00 MSK on 10 April. Before that, the Zurg and Buzz Lightyear Cups will be live, and the top performers in each region will earn the full cosmetic bundles as prizes.
The Toy Story Showdown Series Cups run on 10 April, a few hours ahead of the shop update, giving competitors an early shot at the items. Because both cups are part of the same Showdown Series, they take place simultaneously—players must pick one and will be locked out of the other.
The Buzz Lightyear and Emperor Zurg Cups are duo tournaments in standard Battle Royale. Simply entering either cup and scoring 8 points grants the Buzz vs. Zurg Spray. The player with the most SMG eliminations in a cup also earns the Space Ranger Emote.
