Save the World is one of the few Fortnite modes where players can earn V-Bucks by completing specific missions and tasks. However, there is an important condition: only owners of the Founder’s Pack status have the right to free V-Bucks. This right remains with them even after the mode became free for everyone on April 16, 2026.
Founder’s Pack owners can earn up to 100 V-Bucks per day by completing daily tasks (up to three tasks can be accumulated, and 300 V-Bucks can be received). Additional currency can be obtained through mission alerts, storm shield defense, and other activities. Players who purchased the starter packs for Save the World also get access to V-Bucks tasks.
All V-Bucks tasks can be found in the Save the World quest log, which is opened through the “Quests” tab in the pause menu, while on the home base. Task rewards are clearly indicated.
Can You Still Buy the Founder’s Pack for Fortnite Save the World?

Unfortunately, no. The Founder’s Pack was available for purchase back in 2017. The standard version cost $39.99 and provided access to the mode, additional content, and the ability to earn V-Bucks.
The sale of the Founder’s Pack was discontinued on June 29, 2020, and it can no longer be purchased in Epic Games’ official stores or on consoles. Although the pack can sometimes be found with third-party sellers, we do not recommend buying it, as its price can reach $200-$400 or more, and many offers may be fraudulent.
If you still decide to buy through third-party sites, act with extreme caution to avoid becoming a scam victim.
