I don’t know about you, but for me, the Red Zones were the toughest challenge in Pragmata. I had to fight my way through swarms of incredibly strong enemies and keep a close eye on the Red Gate Keys to avoid missing any. Hopefully, my struggles will be helpful to you, as I’ve now got a clear idea of where to find every key. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find all nine Red Gate Keys in Pragmata.
Overview of Red Gate Keys in Pragmata
As you navigate the five levels of Pragmata, you’ll come across special locked Red Gates that block access to high-risk areas known as Red Zones. These challenging combat arenas not only provide Hugh and Diana with some of the best upgrade materials in the game but also unlock certain sections of the “Seal Boards” in the Sanctuary.
There are a total of nine Red Gate Keys in the game, which can be obtained in two main ways:
- Collectible items: Some keys can be found by exploring the levels, and they’re usually inside red cases.
- Seal Board rewards: Several keys are available on the Seal Boards and can be unlocked using Sanctuary Tokens.
How to Get All 9 Red Gate Keys in Pragmata
Key 1 — Mass Production Array — Trade District
The first collectible key is located on the second level of Pragmata, in the Mass Production Array, specifically in the Trade District sector.
From the open courtyard, go around the central tower. You’ll reach a gate with a sign that reads “Snack Bar — Open 24 Hours”. Before you can enter, the gate will close, and you’ll have to fight off two Walkers and then a Spider.
Once you’ve dealt with them, you can enter the area.

Key 2 — Terra Dome — Eco-Modeling Lab
The second collectible Red Gate Key is on the “Terra Dome” level in Pragmata, specifically in the Eco-Modeling Laboratory sector.
From the spot where you found the second Gen Chip in the Eco-Modeling Lab, follow the path from the round platform up the stairs, then turn left into the large white laboratory building.
At the entrance, look to the right – you’ll see the second Red Gate Key in a red case on the long L-shaped registration desk.
Key 3 — Lunum Mines — Main Excavation Site
The third collectible Red Gate Key in Pragmata is on the “Lunum Mines” level, specifically in the Main Excavation Site sector.

Red Gate Keys from Seal Boards in Pragmata
The remaining five Red Gate Keys can be unlocked through the Seal Club in the Sanctuary, which becomes available after you open the Sanctuary by defeating the boss “SectorGuard” on the “Solar Power Plant” level.
The “Trainee”, “Assistant”, and “Specialist” Seal Boards each contain one Red Gate Key. The “Director” board, the last one unlocked in the main game, contains two such keys. You won’t find any keys in the locked board sections.
Each new board is unlocked after defeating the location’s boss and upgrading the Sanctuary.
