Resident Evil Requiem walkthrough – a guide to the game

Resident Evil Requiem — ninth installment of the legendary series from Capcom, continuing the story many years after the incident in the Arcley mountains and the Raccoon City disaster. The story centers around several main characters, including fan-favorite Leon Kennedy, and events unfold many years after the original game. In this guide, we’ve prepared a detailed walkthrough of Resident Evil Requiem, a breakdown of all the story chapters, solutions to the plot mysteries and puzzles, as well as tips on bosses and key moments in the game.

Note: we will update the guide with the release of Resident Evil Requiem.

Please note that in our guide, all items are divided into categories and marked with different colors:

    • Key items for the plot — green;

    • Weapons, ammunition, and other expendables — red;

    • First aid kits, herbs, and injectors — yellow;

  • Collectibles — blue.

Hospital (Grace)

In the introduction, we take control of Grace Ashford. After a brief cutscene, examine the room. You can interact with the desk lamp, as well as read Notes (Progress Notes). In addition, under the chaise lounge to which the main heroine was tied, you can find traces of blood. You can also examine the medical equipment here.

When you are ready, exit through the single door and follow the corridor to the right. Approximately halfway, you will find a switch – click it to turn on the light at the end of the corridor.

Along the right side, there will be two locked doors numbered 201 and 202. At the end of the corridor, turn left and examine the fuse box through the grille – one is missing.

How to Find the Fuse

If you examine the sliding drawer of the chest of drawers where the lamp stands, you will obtain the key with an angel. It opens the door to the room numbered 201, which you passed by just recently.

Inspect the new room: underneath the cabinet on the right you can find pistol magazines (9×19), and in the cabinet on the left take the empty tin from under the tape. Besides that, in the dark room on the shelf, a lighter will be waiting, and a locked cabinet with a fuse will be there. To get it, you will need to first find a tool.

We return to the corridor and follow in the opposite direction. At the fork by the window, turn right – here a door to the preparatory room will open slightly. When you pass through the end of this room and try to open another door, a corpse will fall on the heroine, and a катсцена will be launched.

Turn around and dash out of the room, then at the fork, go straight ahead to return to the chamber where the heroine awoke and with which you began your playthrough. You can simply wait a little: the monster will try to break in, but it seems the light hurts it, and the mutant will retreat.

Return to the preparatory room and thoroughly examine it. There will be a medical injector on the floor next to the corpse, as well as several empty cupboards. In addition, you will find here a cart that must be moved to the cupboard on the right to climb onto it and pick up a screwdriver in the tool drawer.

As soon as you pick up the plot item, a mutant will immediately enter the room. Go around him on the right side, crawl under the table and return to the safe room. If you wish, you can immediately run to chamber 201, because the light is also on there, and therefore the monster cannot follow you. At least until you pull the fuse out of the panel.

Use the screwdriver on the electrical panel, take out a fuse, and watch the cutscene, after which prepare to run down the corridor to the right. Insert the fuse and watch another short trailer on the engine, after which control will pass to Leon.
