To send disappearing messages, you need to open the user’s profile in the mobile version of the messenger and find the «Auto-Delete» setting. Here, you can choose an interval after which each message in this individual chat will be deleted.

Auto-delete can be enabled for a specific conversation or for all chats at once. After activating the timer, all new messages will disappear after the selected period — for example, in a day, week, or month. Old messages are not affected unless the setting is applied to them manually. To do this, you need to go to privacy settings and choose the necessary deletion interval.

One-Time View or Timer

When sending a photo or video, you need to open its preview and enable one-time view mode or set a timer. After that, the media is sent to the chat in a special format. The recipient will be able to open it once or view it within a given time, after which the file will disappear from the correspondence without the possibility of recovery.
